Job Description: Advanced Development Division at Sypron Solutions is seeking a talented IoT embedded systems engineer to build, test and deploy smart sensors of different modalities and IoT gateways. This is a rare opportunity to have a major impact in the emerging IoT and Industry 4.0 space, building IoT-based industrial platform. You should be highly self-motivated with a strong problem-solving and analytical nature, love of learning, passion for insight, and desire for achieving results.
Job Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, tune, and scale embedded platforms
• Designing hardware architectures through exploration, prototyping, development, and into mass production.
• Develop robust and versatile smart sensors and IoT gateways.
• Explore applied research ideas and emerging technologies and formulate and execute R&D projects in IoT systems.
• Develop and document intellectual property.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
• Experience with digital and analog electronics, power supply design and robust, low-cost and ultra-low-power MCU platforms.
• Experience integrating wireless (3G/4G, WiFi, ZigBee, ZigBee IP, Bluetooth, Z-Wave, etc.) into embedded designs.
• Experience creating schematics and PCB layouts
• Experience with various industry standards (compliance, safety, performance, etc.)
• Experience of data protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, Websocket, Node, etc.
• Knowledge of C, C++, Python and Git version control
• Previous experience of Kernel and/or firmware engineering
• Strong knowledge of memory, threads/process, and networking on Linux
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and technical writing skills
• Functional experience in IoT technologies
Education:
• Minimum: Bachelor Degree
• Preferred: Master’s Degree/Professional Degree
• Major/Discipline: Electronics or Computer Engineering. Exceptional candidates from other disciplines will be considered.
