Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Accountable for the operational oversight, leadership and direction of the station to provide quality service, customer satisfaction, and operational proficiency that ensures growth and cost goals and objectives are met.

Job Description:

  • To manage the operation activities, delivering best in class service to its customers by managing an efficient operation and ensuring timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of customer shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, Implement work objectives and schedules in order to ensure that an effective service is provided to the business within the KPIs & SLAs.
  • Effectively follows up with various departments on all issues to ensure satisfactory closure.
  • Identify, propose improvements of procedures and reports to support the ongoing development of Logistics.
  • Communicate, Coach and motivate staffs, monitors individual performance and review of various productivity metrics.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for staff within the station.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service, profit, and growth, and use key performance indicators to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining customer quality and service.
  • Ensure that the station facility provides a clean, professional, and safe working environment for all employees.
  • Utilize superior communication skills to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives, and co worker.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualification / Experience / Training

  • Bachelor's Degree Business or equivalent work experience
  • Candidate must have at least 3-5 years of management experience in the desired industry
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Previous experience with courier company
  • Familiarity with mainframe computers and/or PC applications
