Network Administrator

Main Duties:

• Install, configure and support local area network, wide area network (LAN and WAN) internet system.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all network hardware resources, Reviewing logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as Firewalls, Routers, Core Switch Configuration backups and take the appropriate actions in case of any failures occurrence.
• Maintain network hardware and software.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Design configure and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
• Research new technology and implement it.
• Responsible for maintaining internal network, VPNs, internet communication lines, Wireless LANs.
• Network capacity planning for future enhancements and new projects.
• Implementation of network infrastructure: Including adequate hardware mounting, software installation, configuration implementing, & cabling considering minimum infrastructure operation disruption.
• Perform advanced monitoring and reporting related to network systems, including availability and performance monitoring & reporting of different network system components.
• Responsible for maintaining the needed tools (software/hardware) for network monitoring & handling network issues arise with monitoring/incident management personnel(s).
• Act as first point of contact for reports of problems with network connectivity & reports of network related threats.
• Troubleshooting of Network infrastructure.
• Ticket Resolution, including supporting 7x24x365 and on-call support as needed.
