Job Description
- The SQE improves the quality of the projects and customer deliverables by testing the different projects onsite and offsite and logging all the defects in the bug tracking system through the awareness of the customer business requirements.
- Understands and follows the testing process defined within the organization.
- Tests the requirements document and generates a defect report or report defects in the bug tracking system.
- Defines the priority for each test case generated.
- Performs all kind of testing required by his supervisor either functional or non functional whether in house or onsite.
- Logs the bugs to the bug tracking system.
- Follows up on issues and bugs to improve the quality of the customer deliverables.
- Adds/updates work products in quality repository (Reports, Test Cases, Test Scripts, UAT, Mails…etc).
- Ensures self-development by keeping track of new technologies progress.
- Complies with the Co. policies regarding security of information, safety, quality standards and business conduct standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Experience in testing web applications is preferable.
- Good knowledge of database and writing queries.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
