Job Description
- Plan spare parts requirements using the AX program.
- MRO project to specify the Maximum stock, Minimum stock, and reorder point.
- Develop and execute a PM plan to achieve spare parts inventory and scrap targets.
- Interface with internal & external business partners (customer service, distribution, commercial procurement, demand planning, product management, planning management, and engineering) to develop and coordinate supply.
- Interface with external vendors to develop and coordinate supply, place POs, and track the incoming supply.
- Maintain timely reporting of inventory, backorder, and line item fill rate metrics.
- Interact with planning management, procurement, engineering, suppliers, etc.
- Managing spare parts substitutions and repair parts.
- Employ the use of quality and lean thinking tools to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
Job Requirements
- BS engineer degree required.
- 3-5 years experience as a Spare Parts Inventory control.
- Knowledge of inventory and cost management principles.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Function as a team player to build good working relationships and provide backup as required.
- Emphasize result, not effort, goal-oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to manage complex projects (demonstrate innovation, assertiveness, and leadership).
- Ex experience as a maintenance planner is an extra advantage.
