Job Description
- Evaluate the existing data protection framework and identify areas of non or partial compliance and rectify any issues.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for all processes.
- Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization.
- Conduct Privacy by Design assessments (PDA) for all new projects/tools/processes.
- Participate, develop, implement and run a range of privacy awareness trainings & campaigns.
- Apply all needed monitoring checkpoints across all teams & functions.
- Conduct the needed Privacy technical assessment for all data breach cases.
- Conduct the needed vendor assessments during the onboarding stage
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in the field of Data Privacy or GDPR or Cyber Security.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred Computer Science, Engineering, Law)
- Expertise in European data protection laws and practices including an in-depth understanding of the GDPR.
- Experience within a Data Privacy, legal, audit and/or risk function department is an asset (preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent English language
- Experience with OneTrust tool is an asset
