Job Description

Our client is a premium Japanese restaurant situated in an iconic five star hotel in Gezira Island, Cairo. Currently seeking a Japanese speaking restaurant manager for daily operational management.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
  • Organize and supervise employee shifts.
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve quality of service.
  • Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it.
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Train new and current employees.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • High proficiency in Japanese.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
  • Strong leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills.
  • Work experience in food and beverage outlets is advantageous.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management is advantageous.
