Job Description
For a Multinational company in Heliopolis “ interior designer” is needed
Job responsibilities :
- Host and assist/address the end consumers’ / Showroom Visitors with their needs/requirements by providing interior design solutions.
- To fill in the responsibilities of the Showroom Manager in case of absence (leave, shift).
- Discuss requirements and translate the end consumers’ needs into solutions, with an interior design aspect.
- Develop design concepts solutions on floor plan, often using computer aided design (CAD) software, when required, under the supervision of the Showroom Manager.
- Advise customers on interior design aspects, such as space planning, layout and utilization of products, and color coordination.
- Maintain product literature files to ensure the most current and accurate information is always provided to visitors.
- Design the company display sections at various showrooms, meeting the display objectives and feature our products creatively.
- Design the company showrooms and providing exceptional display for the walk in customers.
- Assist when required the Showroom Manager with the organization of events, launch of products and promotions of the Center.
- Provide feedback to the Showroom Manager with regards to the needs, suggestions, feedback from the showroom guests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Designer degree or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience
- A high level of technical knowledge, including CAD and model-making skills
- Good drawing skills, including perspective drawing and spatial awareness.
- Project management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Awareness of building and safety regulations
- Knowledge of the wider construction and design industries
- Advanced Microsoft Office literacy
- Excellent ability to communicate in Arabic and English language; verbal and written communication to promote and explain ideas, and build relationships with customers.
