Job Description
- Maintaining networks, servers and security programs and systems.
- Manage the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software.
- Perform troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems, and assess viruses and potential threats to a company’s network.
- Troubleshoot problems, configure hardware and software, implement backup processes and assess systems for upgrades or replacement. Troubleshoot issues and outages as needed.
- Installing new systems and assessing and implementing upgrades as needed.
- Conduct network troubleshooting to segregate and identify general network problems
- Manage, maintain and update onsite and offsite site copiers, printers and fax machines.
- Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks, maintain and introduce training as needed.
- Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for the desktop environment.
- Maintain and update documentation of procedures and configurations.
- Manage entire inventory related to hardware, software and other IT supplies.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Set up domain/email accounts and workstations.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Experience with Telephone Analog Central System.
- Experience with NAS and SAN storage systems.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows, Apple, Linux,etc.).
- Familiarity with network fundamentals and ITIL standards.
- Familiarity with Firewall, Routers, Switches and various infrastructure components.
- Excellent communication skills & problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; Professional certification MCSA, MCITP, CCNA.
- Hands on experience of installing various IT hardware, software and systems including but not limited to (Access control, CCTV, telephone system, Wi-Fi access points, switches, routers, etc.).
