Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Testing Specialist is responsible for administering and processing of AMIDEAST’s SAT testing program effectively as per set policies and procedures. Senior Testing Specialist will support the SAT and the Local Registration Programs, with particular focus on the SAT administration and all logistics related to training sessions; contact observers and proctors, tracks documents and forms and update databases; complete reporting documentation; consistently ensure that that testing quality and security standards are being met; and will actively interact with all SAT stakeholders in a professional and positive manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Orientation session for SAT candidates in house and outreach.
  • Act as the back-up the SAT Coordinator during absence.
  • Monitor and manage the daily duties completion of the SAT Testing assistant.
  • Prepare logistics for the SAT exams which includes
  1. Upload the SAT rosters from the web site.
  2. Handle the vehicle request for the TCOs on the test day.
  3. Determine the number of observers needed.
  4. Work on the TCOs list.
  5. Prepare the files for TCOs.
  6. Work on the training for TCOs.
  7. Conduct a training for new TCOs.
  8. Work on the evaluation reports for the TCOs.
  9. Scoring the quizzes of the TCOs.
  10. Respond to email and phone call inquiries.
  11. Maintain a database of TCOs.
  • Work efficiently on multiple projects (SAT registration, SAT administration and Local Registration) and meet all project deadline and within projected timelines
  • Work with different departments (CS, exchange, Finance, HR, IT, admin and EL)
  • Perform actively in cross functional projects team-work
  • Handle work tasks and responsibilities independently and with minimal supervision
  • Develop excellent communication standards with TCOs and TCS.
  • Create informative posts to raise awareness to customers for all SAT activities
  • Interact and engage with customers (TCOs and TCS) and their needs
  • Handle SAT and local registration candidate complaints with courteous and prompt manner.
  • Ensure that all SAT testing materials are accurately verified upon their receipt before and after the test administration and maintains test security and integrity at all times.
  • Handles the SAT test centers requests before the exam, on the day of the exam and after the exam and whenever needed.
  • Respond promptly to SAT inquiries received from Test Center Observers on the day of the exam.
  • Assist in responding to Test Center Supervisors calls on the day of the exam.
  • Monitor and Observe SAT testing centers to ensure that they meet the College Board requirements whenever requested.
  • Maintain updated records of Test Center Observers evaluation reports.
  • Monitor the preparation of s score reports for SAT exams, within set timeframes and starts the data entry of the SAT DI score reports.
  • Monitor the prompt and efficient registration of registered client applications to the local registrations service.
  • In all activities, takes all required security precautions according to set rules and regulations to maintain test and score security.
  • Maintain accurate monthly statistics for registrations and scores.
  • Answers testing inquiries and provides information about various testing programs to candidates.
  • Collaborates in fairs to promote testing products.
  • Provides backup support for Testing Unit staff during peak hours and staff absence.
  • Monitor that SAT testing filling system is always updated and easily accessible.
  • Other assigned duties upon need.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field
  • Excellent English and Arabic oral and written communication skills
  • 5 – 7 years of work experience
  • Project Management Skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, accurate and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be willing to work in afternoons/evenings, when requested Working on Week-Ends based on the days of the SAT exams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations,

Preferred:

  • Work experience in testing, customer service, or marketing
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Candidate will be required to take the Prometric certification and pass certification exam to become a certified test center administrator when needed.
