Job Description
- Proactively manage individual claims from notification to closure, investing the necessary level of involvement required for each claim depending on, the nature, category, maturity, type and quantum of the claim.
- Follow at all times Arope’s Claims Reserving Philosophy and Claims Standards.
- Develop, iterate, document and execute claims strategies taking into account uncertainties, key decisions, potential outcomes and estimated associated costs.
- Manage claims portfolio(s) to optimize performance.
- Develop an understanding of marketing and underwriting strategies for your business area and contribute to business development and renewal opportunities by attending client meetings to explain the Arope’s claims philosophy and approach to claims handling, and discussing any claims issues.
- Provide input to underwriters on review of potential or existing insured claims experience.
- Feedback claims trends and developments and their potential impact on the book.
Job Requirements
- Minimum B.S Degree in Insurance or related fields with an emphasis in business studies; a professional insurance certificate/license is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering Claims (Insurance).
- Strong perseverance and leading personality.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.
- Enjoy leadership and creative skills and takes initiatives in a proactive manner; Committed to excellence and innovation.
- Possess an analytical background, excellent math skills and decision making abilities; Strong ability to pay attention to details.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
