Job Description
- Ability to advocate for product quality with employees, peers and managers.
- Create and/or critically review test designs, plans, and results.
- Define and institutionalize ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.
- Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams involved.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or Information Services or equivalent QA certifications and experience.
- Quality Assurance Testing Certification.
- Knowledge in Automated Test Case Management Tools.
- Knowledge in Automated Regression Tools.
- Knowledge in Agile Development processes.
- Extensive experience with QA techniques and methodology: developing test plans, designing, implementing, executing and analyzing test cases, writing and interpreting reports, reporting testing status, creating defect and code coverage metrics, and assessing risk.
- Experience in analyzing the various features in a release and recommend suitable test strategy to achieve greater product quality for each release.
- Knowledge of object oriented programming, preferred.
- Understanding of SDLC.
- Experience in handling simultaneous multiple projects.
- Excellent logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Self-starter, who is detailed, thorough, organized, and has a proven ability to prioritize and scope work.
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive experience with software development best practices, lifecycle, and agile or scrum methodology
