Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Grade 1 students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Develop individualized learning plans to support students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and school staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral incidents.
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching at the elementary or primary level, preferably as a homeroom teacher.
- Full-time, on-site commitment with the flexibility to participate in school events and activities.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction.
