Job Description

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Grade 1 students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Develop individualized learning plans to support students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and school staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral incidents.
  • Uphold school policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching at the elementary or primary level, preferably as a homeroom teacher.
  • Full-time, on-site commitment with the flexibility to participate in school events and activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and educational best practices.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Early Childhood Education and Child Development
  • Experience in Teaching and Working with Children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Relevant teaching certifications are preferred
  • English Proficiency is a must
