Job Description
We are looking for a competent Help desk to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. ITTS will work as an effective team member in the following information technology fields:
- PC / Endpoint
- IT Essential services ( messaging , ERP , printing … )
- IT Networks / IT telecommunications
- Advanced surveillance & physical security systems
- IT physical / logical security systems
- Bio-metric control systems
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance.
- Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next technical level.
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
- Follow-up and update customer status and information.
- Pass on any feedback or suggestion by customer to the higher level to take proper actions.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
- Receive / test / distribute / install IT devices.
- Install operating systems , productivity software packages and security software.
- Maintain LAN / WAN connections across all premises.
- Diagnose hardware problems and fix them.
- Maintain / support / install Bio-metric control devices.
Working Conditions:
Will work in office environment under the supervision of the IT Managers, occasionally can visit other branches to fix problems or support employees either technically or functionally.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline
- At least one year exp in the same post
- Must be a team player , enthusiastic and willing to work and learn
- Good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution
- Customer-oriented and patient.
- Ready to travel inside Egypt.
