Job Description

Key Specific Accountabilities

  • Review & attend MEP & Facilities meetings.
  • Develop & Review Maintenance SOPs .
  • Secure materials for both MEP maintenance & tasks.
  • Secure materials needed for civil & fixing construction comments.
  • Update monthly maintenance KPIs.
  • Manage attendance plan for all the Health & Safety Management dept.
  • Arrange to fix & develop weak points on the MEP networks.
  • Support backup the Health & Safety Management in evacuation drills & safety matters.
  • Manage utilities to minimize cost of consumptions.
  • Manage external contractors on the tasks & additional works.
  • Manage maintenance action plan for all peaks & events.
  • Manage the MEP systems in case of abnormal & crises.
  • Conduct inspections to make sure that all MEP systems are ready to provide conducive environment for our customers.
  • Manage major tests like generator full load test , blackout test, emergency lights test, fire pumps test,…..etc.
  • Manage water & power shutdown plans in store.
  • Arrange with external service providers to manage the shutdown plans & develop performance of utilities.
  • Perform safety inspection & maintenance inspection and devise an action plan to fix all comments.
  • Manage budget & update month closing.
  • Collect quotations and offers from subcontractors and issue the comparison sheet to choose the best quality and price.
  • Support Health & Safety Management to keep SISAN in good level.
  • Manage development plans for all MEP & Civil works to keep our store controlled and all systems functional.
  • Manage facilities, hood & grease trap cleaning.
  • Manage AC set points around the store to achieve both good environment & cost saving.

Job Requirements

  • Live and share the IKEA values every day.
  • High School/Trade School Graduate.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in building maintenance and daily operations in a management capacity.
  • Ideally from Electrical / Mechanical background supporting the asset management and coordinating with the commercial team.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of fire and security systems is an added advantage.
  • Clear understanding of customer service guidelines/principles.
  • Strong team player and good English communication. Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listening.
  • Proven commitment to high quality execution within limited time frames and safety is upheld to the highest standards and the store standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations.
