Job Description
- Responsible for getting ocean freight rates from shipping lines &, follow up validity of rates.
- Arrange bookings with customer based on the weekly reports received.
- Arrange booking with matching ETA at POD based on agreed report.
- Follow up and revise shipping documents sent by customer (Invoice, Packing List, company docs).
- Arrange transportation with a trucking contractor.
- Follow-up arrival of containers at customer plant on agreed loading date.
- Send final shipping declaration and VGM to shipping lines to get draft of B/L. Follow up B/L and certificate of origin docs with the customer to issue the original ones.
- Follow up with SEFEM custom broker status of shipments customs clearance and delivery of endorsed shipping order on time.
- Tracking shipments on a weekly basis to get shipping line invoices in order to settle payments and collect final B/L.
- Handle the CONSUL shipment procedures.
- Assure a full follow up with customer regarding previous or current shipments.
- Provide the accounting department with proper and correct billing information.
- Register regularly the files in the system.
- Maintaining confidentiality of information related to the company and not transferring it to any person.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration or any similar degree.
- English fluent IS MUST.
- Practical experience in a similar position for minimum of 3 years.
- Fully aware of import regulations and requirements.
- Email correspondence experience IS MUST.
- Excellent communication skills & presentation skills.
- High level of negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multi tasks at same time.
- Good planning, organizing and management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (excel, word, Outlook)
