Job Description
- Create visual content and Programs Design For Childhood and Creativity including social media as well as internal digital and print channels.
- Clearly and accurately communicate safety and other public information through media and other channels
- Use communications as a strategic tool that helps the company achieve its business goals
- Support efforts to increase customer satisfaction and brand favor ability through educational efforts
- Collaborate across the Marketing & Communications, and throughout the company, and bring innovative approaches as take each project from the idea stage, through the design and production process to sharing on channels - while meeting deadlines along the way.
- Will provide social media community management support.
- Provide social media channel support in addition to content creation (monitoring, posting) and serve in a rotational emergency operations communications role as assigned.
- Serve as an expert on our brand standards.
- Be the steward of the team’s digital asset library.
- Provide photography support for events, portraits and publications.
- Provide video recording and production support.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Content Creation/visual design, mostly in a social media context
- Highly skilled and experienced with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong foundational knowledge of layout, typography, photography, color and icons Desired
- Current with the latest design and photography trends and able to incorporate these into your work
- Experience with Wordpress and social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube is a plus
- A great attitude, and flexibility with last-minute changes
- Experience working in a collaborative, team environment
- Strong work ethic and a passion for continued growth and learning
