Job Description
- Maintains daily diaries of events associated with the work on-site by using related Dar Mac Urban Development forms and procedures.
- Supervises his subordinate staff members in the execution of their responsibilities.
- Monitors, reviews, comments, and reports on issues of payments, quality control, and safety.
- Monitors all contractors submittals (ie. correspondence and shop drawings) to assure a timely response, and process for review of all change orders and field instructions.
- Prepares necessary draft correspondence for final approval.
- Assists, as applicable, with pre-tender and pre-construction activities for contracts related to his/her site(s) and provides necessary input for analyzing all change orders and claims.
- Holds daily meeting with the contractor’s representative.
- Prepares the weekly progress reports by using related Dar Mac Urban Development form.
- Assists the project manager, construction manager, or resident engineer in preparing the monthly progress reports.
- Reviews and approves the as-built drawings for final approval.
- Assists in preparing the final acceptance certificate or completion report.
- Reviews and presents the valuations of contractor's payments for final approval.
- Witnesses and supervises testing, commissioning and start-up activities.
- In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, he/she may act as a construction manager and may charge his responsibilities in several smaller projects, as assigned by Dar Mac Urban Development management in coordination with the project manager, construction manager, or resident engineer.
Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years progressive experience in all construction field activities of architectural .
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- have experience in the fields of electric power and lighting is a must.
