Taking stock of research conducted and published locally and internationally on MSMEs and entrepreneurship development in Egypt.
Close monitoring and analysis of relevant international reports that rank or compare different economies focusing on the business environment (such as Doing Business, Global Competitiveness Report and the SME Policy Index).
Identification of data and information available at MSMEDA departments and regional offices based on their day-to-day operations and the format and periodicity of reporting it to the KMC.
Conducting quality check on data and information received from internal and external stakeholders.
Synthesis of available data and information on MSMEDA and entrepreneurship in Egypt and producing value-adding reports.
Conducting research studies as per the research agenda. This includes identifying research objectives (problem definition), research design (approach/methodology), collection of data from secondary and primary sources, quantitative and qualitative analysis and conclusion.

A degree in economics, political science, management, business administration, international development, or a relevant field.
2-5 years of experience in designing and conducting research, preferably in the field of micro, small and medium ‘s organizational development
Excellent knowledge of research methodologies; quantitative and qualitative.
Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
Persistence, ability to work under pressure and willingness to learn.
Computer skills necessary to conduct all duties electronically.
Proficiency of English and Arabic languages; written and spoken.
