Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Commercial Planning
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to support business growth and improve market position.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support commercial decisions.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead commercial feasibility studies.
- Contracts & Negotiations
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, clients, and service providers to secure optimal commercial terms.
- Review, draft, and approve commercial agreements, ensuring legal and contractual compliance.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure delivery against agreed terms.
- Financial & Performance Management
- Prepare commercial budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Evaluate pricing strategies, profit margins, cost structures, and commercial risks.
- Monitor KPIs and provide periodic reports to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Sales to align commercial activities with business goals.
- Provide commercial support to project teams throughout project lifecycle.
- Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and industry regulations.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5–10 years of commercial experience, ideally in a similar industry or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial best practices.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
