Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic & Commercial Planning
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to support business growth and improve market position.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support commercial decisions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead commercial feasibility studies.
  • Contracts & Negotiations
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers, clients, and service providers to secure optimal commercial terms.
  • Review, draft, and approve commercial agreements, ensuring legal and contractual compliance.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure delivery against agreed terms.
  • Financial & Performance Management
  • Prepare commercial budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, profit margins, cost structures, and commercial risks.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide periodic reports to senior management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Sales to align commercial activities with business goals.
  • Provide commercial support to project teams throughout project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and industry regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5–10 years of commercial experience, ideally in a similar industry or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
