Job Description

  • As a Director of Human Resources, the candidate will be responsible for managing the human resources function in order to meet the strategic business objectives.
  • The role involves development and implementation of strategies and policies and will include key responsibilities such as
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Develops and implements departmental budget.
  • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of 10-15  years of experiences in an Human Resources with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a Leadership role.
  • computer literate, ideally with proficiency in a computerized payroll system
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Previous experiences in Saudi Arabia are preferred and a track record of career progress and stability is an essential.
  • Accounting background is a PREFERANCE
  • Working in leadership role in BIG CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES is a MUST

Knowledge & Competencies

  • Proven experience as HR Director
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
  • A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
  • BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus
