- We are looking for a Senior Software Technical Manager that will lead the software development of our workplace, understands business goals and creates scalable, flexible technical solutions.
- The candidate would be responsible for delivery and ensuring modern software development practices are being applied with our projects.
- He would motivate the team and cultivate a culture of high energy and technical excellence.
- Establishing a good support infrastructure to handle production issues and being responsive to customer problems is essential to the role.
- Exposure & experience in large-scale system implementation is a big plus. Ultimately, he will be responsible for team and projects quality.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in software engineering or Computer Science.
- Track record of using technology as a core competency to innovate and transform business models.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Experience introducing new technologies into the organization.
- Experience managing multiple teams & distributed development.
- Proficient in engineering practices that drive business agility.
- Programming experience (any of Java, C#, JavaScript C++, Go, Python, etc.) or simply a polyglot background.
Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, utilize and maintain software engineering applications.
- Prepare all required Technical Proposal pertinent to software engineering.
- Administer support for Business Development, Systems Engineering and SR Technical personnel.
- Supervise training and development of software engineering staff.
- Assign work to software engineering personnel and evaluate plus manages their performance.
- Support to recruit engineering personnel, technical staffing and project team’s formation.
- Supervise engineering deliverables.
- Manages continuing support and provide system metrics for client facing products.
- Present practical input for strategic technology decisions.
- Support preparation of Technology Roadmap.
- Comply with all professional departmental as well as company best practices.
- Present project management backup as required.
- Help translation of business requirements into technical needs and actions.
- Supervise reporting responsibility for independent software contractors, software engineers and outsourcing partners.
- Ensure software engineering personnel is suitably trained to perform all job function and suitably use project and software related tools.
- Understand and implement compliance documentation.
- Understand and implement regulatory directives.
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical management issues.
- Execute new technical integrations to support related activities.
- Maintain and manage technical product support.
- Develop and implement efficient instrument integrations.
- Resolve and respond to customer issues and inquiries.
- Train, guide and mentor technical staff in their day-to-day functions.
- Operate within the budgetary limits.
- Assist and support technicians in executing projects.
Experience:
- 12 years’ experience in progressively senior technology roles.
