Job Description
- Manage the Methods Engineering through the production of site layouts, fence drawings, site installations, logistic strategy, cranes loading schedule, traffic management drawings in safe & healthy conditions
- Manage the Methods Structural Design of Temporary structures (Metallic Structural Design, Reinforced Concrete Design) through the production of concrete outline drawings for non-structural concrete. This includes the blinding and the masse concrete drawing.
- Define the formwork and falsework systems, and their cycle, to be used in constructing the permanent works
- Liaise with the logistic/plant department to identify what are the tools and materials that are available
- Define the construction joints locations, orientations of the starter bars, the locations of the couplers or bars to be unbent on site. This task should be realized by coordination with the Structural Designer and Waterproofing Designer
- Give to the construction team the principles of the works method statements and review the Work Method Statement when requested
- Propose innovative methods of construction including off-site fabrication and pre-casting techniques when feasible
- Follow the good implementation of the method document by making regular site visits and by liaising with the Temporary Work Coordinator.
- Prepare/settle on the Field Method Modification Requests.
- Prepare the information to be included in the experience shared report for the project.
- Take part in site/design/interface meetings as required.
- Make Quality and Safety integrated with all the process of design.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience from 15 years of experience with methods( formwork) at projects.
- Very good at both written and spoken English skills.
