Job Description
Production Planning Engineer ensures smooth flow of the production process, in coordination with the entire Production team, spanning Production, supply- chain and Quality control.
Particular focus on special projects for the production of specialized customer needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare establishing and modification the BOM with all new products, current and reviewed with supervisor planning.
- Coordination with Purchasing for the planning of purchase needs based on customer orders received from the sales Department.
- Planning of production program in coordination with Production managers to meet customer delivery dates.
- Coordinate with other departments (operation-purchasing -quality-marketing) to ensure the implementation of all ongoing production plans.
- Tracks the progress of goods as they are being manufactured to ensure they remain on schedule
- Updates interested parties as to how production is progressing
- Coordination with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure smooth flow of products in and out of the facilities.
- Management of special projects to meet specialized customer needs – from pre-sales coordination with Sales through to the delivery through Supply Chain.
- Managing all reporting for the Manufacturing Department related to planning.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of feasibility reports for new products/lines
- Special projects – efficient utilization of ERP Tool
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering or relevant.
- Experience from 2 to 4 in Planning in Manufacture industry is a Must.
- Experience in FMCG Companies is mandatory.
- Planning and project management skills.
- Ability to focus on pressure and time management.
- CPIM is preferred.
- Previous working on ERP Systems is preferred
