Job Description

Role Objective :

  • To lead FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing - finance Davion and investment activities to ensure that it meets its commitments to all its stakeholders .
  • To plan, direct and control all aspects of FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing ) country financial management in order to optimize the return of the organization’s resources while ensuring that effective controls are in place to closely monitor finance performance and identify issues requiring closer scrutiny or BOD decisions .
  • To ensure smooth functioning of the Finance function that would include Accounting/ Taxation, Management Reporting, Credit Control and the Treasury function .

Strategic role :

  1. Lead the development of the annual business plan for FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing ) from a financial perspective including financial goals and objectives .
  2. Develop and review financial and accounting policies and procedures, CASH FLOW PLAN based on business needs, develop all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with the country regulation.
  3. Contribute towards formulation of FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing ) strategy, annual business plans, budgets  to support functional and organizational business strategy .
  4. Facilitate in the development and implementation of all processes, policies, procedures and standards for finance, in relation to financial control, payments, settlements, collections, transfers of funds, and management reporting .
  5. Review the budgets with the MD, and Country heads and present the approved budgets to them.
  6. Develop financial and country corporate governance strategies.

 

Operational Role :

  1. Lead the development of the annual budget for FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing ) in all the countries  as a whole as well as provide support to individual departments in developing their respective annual budgets; monitor and review the budget on a continual basis to ensure Financial efficiency.
  2. Ensure that the financial and accounting processes at FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing ) are compliant with the statutory, regulatory and corporate governance requirements .
  3. Monitor costs through effective accounting controls and financial management process; Track variance against budgets and targets, ask for clarifications, and initiate corrective actions .
  4. Ensure the implementation of systems and procedures for efficient and effective internal control and risk management for FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing ) country .
  5. Ensure control over all checks and payments made as well as instigation of invoice payment on a regular basis in coordination with subordinate divisions, by ensuring the payment is in accordance with contracted agreements .
  6. Provide a comprehensive finance and accounting service to FRG ( Fashion Retail ) & N ALNasser (Garment Manufacturing ) , including the preparation of estimates, annual operating and capital budgets and final accounts .
  7. Oversee the financial control process across the country  through proper reconciliation of all concerned systems, accounts, sub-ledgers, etc .
  8. Oversee the preparation of statistical returns and financial analy­sis on a range of topics for internal and external use .
  9. Prepare and monitor country  cash flow projections and associated records to determine the optimum use of funds .
  10. Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and proce­dures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the country  .
  11. Monitor company’s liquidity through proper management of Treasury assets, liabilities, exchange rate, liquidity, interest rate and other risks .
  12. Maintains CAPEX database by country by location and monitor expense movements against budgets and reports variance .
  13. Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company .

Job Requirements

Education:

Master’s degree in Finance and Accounts.

Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, CPA or similar.
