Senior Electrical Engineer

Supervises the day-to-day operations of electrical section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures

• Organize and control an efficient Electrical engineering workshop including the management of Technicians and Graded Workers.
• Scheduling the work on a daily basis to the Electrical Technicians.
• Participate in preparing annual Electrical maintenance plans to make the best use of resources  
• Follow up the progression and inspection process of to ensure the efficient and effective performance of Electrical plant and machinery, ensuring remedial work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss (Breakdowns) of the plant and equipment
• Follow up and analyse the downtimes and solve them quickly
• Create maintained a register of all workshop equipment to manage the timely calibration and maintenance of Section focused equipment. Ensure all lifting gear and workshop equipment is maintained to the highest possible standard.(Including Baler and shredder)
• Issue Reports on major problems and failures, suggests suitable corrective actions to minimize or prevent recurrence of the problem.
