Here’s what you will be doing at Bosta.
- You’ll be leading the quality effort on all software releases. With your team, you will be defining the test strategy, developing processes and tools, and thoroughly testing bosta software which includes client and server side products, API platform, and server infrastructure.
- Develop, enact, and manage testing schedules, ensuring that the QC team meets expectations and deadlines.
- Evaluate current QA processes, tools and methodologies and provide recommendations for improvement/maturation.
- Increase our test automation coverage, work with developers to integrate automated testing into the CI process.
- Work with the product team to understand requirements to create comprehensive test plans and execute them.
- Drive the adoption of QC best practices through the whole team.
- Support other test areas including performance, load, security.
- Help set and fulfill the QA staffing plan, including sourcing, screening and interviewing.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software quality control.
- 2+ years of experience leading a QC team.
- Ability to Lead the team and knowledge on remote models.
- Ability to write, Debug and run the Automation scripts.
- Be very hands-on in manual, automated testing in web and mobile applications.
- Proven track of record of successfully leading a team.
- A good Javascript/Node.js development experience.
- Expert understanding of software QA, including best practices, processes and various types of testing.
- Experience in MySQL and MongoDB.
- Experience in Agile Application Development concepts.
- Experience in using defect management, test management and repository tools such as JIRA , TFS and GIT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
