Job Description

Textile product development involves designing products that meet customers’ needs and that align with, or improve upon, the manufacturer’s product line and specialties. A product development administrator can be involved in many meetings to discuss product concepts, color palettes, prints, patterns and types of fiber and weaving to be applied to a new product or product line. Product development administrators can also be involved in managing costs, approving product prototypes and assuring requirements through all stages of new product development.

  • Liaising with and providing technical advice to design, marketing, purchasing and production staff
  • Creating products in response to given briefs
  • Producing samples
  • Dyeing and printing textiles
  • Evaluating, identifying and selecting fabrics/products from suppliers
  • Keeping up to date with trends and innovations.
  • A high level of technical knowledge and strong practical skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and to liaise with colleagues in other functions
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • The ability to prioritize and switch between different tasks as required
  • Problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
  • Organizational skills, to ensure time schedules are adhered to and deadlines are met.
  • Develop Tech Pack till the final product.
  • Develop Printing requirements according to company profile.
  • An interest in, and understanding of, computer technology.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • Candidates should be having Experience in High fashion Garments Industries.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Males only
  • Positive attitude and creating a good environment.
  • Manage all production Activities.
  • Follow-up Production Orders with Merchants instructions.
  • Ensure daily production goals are met.
  • Ability to generate daily production reports.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office including advanced skills in Excel and ERP Systems.
