Job Description
- Architect and build REST APIs using Ruby on Rails
- Integrating APIs from internal teams and third parties
- Implementing automated unit and integration testing
- Collaborating with engineering, product management, internal stakeholders, designers, and our clients to deliver on our commitments
- Observing and monitoring our production system including on-call support
Job Requirements
What do you need to succeed?
- 3+ years of experience developing and integrating APIs using Ruby on Rails
- 3+ years of RDBMS/SQL experience, Postgres preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with node.js, ember.js, or vue.js
- Experience working on a distributed development team in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- Excellent communication skills
Tech Stack In Use:
- Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Docker, Helm, Kubernetes
- Gitlab
- AWS Technologies: SNS, SQS, S3, RDS
- PostgreSQL
Qualifications:
- Proven API development experience in Ruby on Rails
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Docker + Kubernetes
- Proven RDBMS/SQL experience
