Job Description
- Liability for purchases of spare parts and equipment.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on the supplier’s payment.
- Negotiate and estimate needs a budget for the implementation.
- Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery
- Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
- Analyze suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing.
- Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
- Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Relevant experience preferred in Ready mix, construction materials
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Oracle ).
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
