Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Develop product positioning that differentiates software products offerings by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
  • Sales enablement – Create messaging that fits the audience mindset/competitive landscape and maximizes the strengths of various channels or communication experiences (e.g. website, in-product messaging, on-boarding, blog, emails, field, etc.)
  • Product launch - Plan and execute product/feature launches across cross-functional teams (spanning Brand, Product, Marketing, Support, Service, Sales) and related sales enablement
  • Market intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them . Design integrated marketing plans across owned, paid, and earned media channels—driven by a rationale for why, when, and how each channel should be used
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
  • Work with CMO to establish a continuous feedback loop (encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors) to influence the product development roadmap and create mitigation for product gaps
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand and support ongoing enablement, while always thinking about and optimizing for the self-service web, try, and buy experience

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in software marketing
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing
  • Enthusiasm and empathy for genuinely improving how businesses serve and engage people
  • Passion and curiosity for cutting-edge research on new AI technologies
  • Data-driven in how you approach planning and execution, yet able to distill complex analytics topics in an easy-to-understand manner—SQL knowledge is a bonus
  • Demonstrated an ability to dive into a product and become a champion
  • Articulate and skilled at telling a written or visual story in a simple, straightforward way
  • Self-starter and multi-tasker, who will energetically pursue and troubleshoot various initiatives to show continued iterative progress
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
