Job Description

Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements to design normalized databases.
- Understand the underlying data and relationships in the database design.
- Create, modify and maintain the database architecture as per the given instructions to accommodate the system requirements.
- Design and develop forms to enable users to maintain, process and view data & transactions.
- Design and develop stored procedures.
- Create, modify, and maintain various data exports and imports including excel, csv, etc.
- Test the system at each stage of the development phase and identifying bugs in the system and fixing them.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- BS or M.S degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Skilled as both SQL Developer and SQL Administrator
- Database Administrator with at least 3 years dedicated as a SQL Server production DBA required.
- Strong T-SQL and PL-SQL development skills.
- Can easily transform complex business queries into high performance SQL statements.
- Optimization strategies and troubleshooting (blocking/deadlocking, indexing, triggers, SPs, functions, etc.)
- Prior experience using Amazon AWS RDS: configuration specific to connectivity, security, replication, and performance.
- Experience with managing local servers
- Strong written/oral communication skills including proactively escalating unresolved issues
- Tracking / resolving incidents within production environment to meet SLAs
