Mold Design Engineer

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed drawings for fabrication and explain all design requirements mentioned in drawings.
• Design and optimization of mechanical components.
• Study and analyze mechanical systems (Finite Element Analysis for structures, fatigue, motion, thermal and vibration analysis)
• Create documentation, illustrations, manuals... etc. for mechanical systems.
• Research and analyze customer requirements,  design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data provided.
• Visualize 3D models and conceptual design (Rendering and animation)
• Studying all of the client's manufacturing requirements, including the desired output of the machinery to be automated, the design of the components to be manufactured, the sequence of the machine operations, and the total time that the operational process requires.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of all CNC machines and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
• Maintain a centralized program database and detailed records on all CNC machines.
• Training and supervising other engineers, researching the latest in technological advancements, and fielding client inquiries.
• Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning.
• Understanding the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings.
• Translating instructions into computer commands (Develop CAD-CAM files) so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Review processing schedules and production orders to determine inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Optimizing the production quality level by assuring the highest quality standard for the production by the first time.
