Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation help to improve the PlanRadar iOS app (smartphone, tablet).
Write code that’s readable, well documented, and has meaningful tests.
Build new features and improve the existing codebase.
Collaborate with the whole team and get involved in planning new features, improving existing features, and architectural decisions.
Spend time on getting things done correctly, not quick and dirty.
Development, selection, and integration of new technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as an iOS Developer.
Deep and intimate understanding of developing native iOS apps (Objective-C, Swift, CoreData, Cocoa Touch Framework, Cocoa Design Patterns, Git, CocoaPods, REST, and common 3rd party frameworks like AFNetworking/Alamofire).
Knowledge on how to write clean and robust code.
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
English language skills (German is a plus).
A pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills and understanding of the importance of team cohesion.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
