About the Job:
- 360imaging is seeking a self-motivated senior UI/UX designer to innovate and support a variety of new product development as well as improvement initiatives across our products.
- The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with several different business and development teams within the organization, providing elegant User Interfaces and simplified workflows.
- A thought leader within the company this candidate will demonstrate an unfailing passion and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users.
Responsibilities:
- Translate functional requirements into simple, usable interfaces in collaboration with our engineers and community of users.
- Coordinate and help guide the user interaction model, workflows, information architecture, and interface guidelines.
- Work to constantly improve the usability of existing projects over iterative deployments.
- Design and maintain a consistent UI pattern library across our products
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- 2 -5 years of experience or a killer portfolio demonstrating your talent and thought process.
- An ability to design from a user-centric perspective
- Passion for interaction design and system design
- Passionate about creating a user-friendly customer journey
- A strong awareness of common Usability methods and principles
- Able to translate requirements into concepts, intuitive flows and elegant design solutions
- Experience using design tools like Adobe CC, Omnigraffle, Axure, or whatever suits you
- Basic knowledge of QT is a plus
- Experience in CAD or medical software is a plus
- Basic 3D graphics knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
- The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment
- Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work
- Ability to work collaboratively with a passionate group of people who may not agree with you
