Job Description
- Has extensive Technical knowledge and experience in operational maintenance, availability,capacity planning and monitoring of Critical Storage Area Networking (SAN)
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Boracade SAN switches.
- Linux server infrastructure administration and performing operational support activities (installation,configuration,upgrades,patching,troubleshooting,performance tuning.
- Oversee EMC Networker and Veritas Net Backup infrastructure to ensure that the best practices are in place and the infrastructure is optimized for performance and reliability
- Work with team to restructure the existing back up infrastructure and set a strategic plan for disaster recovery.
- Provide technical leadership in design, installation, configuration, and implementation of VMWare products and services.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years experience engineering solutions and instrumentation for EMC, Hitachi and Axiom Pillar Storage Area Networks (SAN) for mission critical, enterprise applications and databases
- 8 years experience with Linux Red Hat, RHCE will be an advantage
- EMC and NetBackup backup product strong experience is required
- Hand on experience with VMware technologies,VMware Certified professional is a plus
