Job Description
- Carry out all activities related to entry of medical data into the mission database, according to MSF protocols and maintaining confidentiality, in order to have reliable and up to date information. Carry out all medical template reproduction as per PMR request and manage all patient files archives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure, promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered. Ensure complete patient and project confidentiality.
- Enter medical data (e.g. patient data, dates of visit, content of prescription, viral load, etc.) with timly and accuracy manners in mission’s database on a regular basis and according to MSF protocols. Complete data entry of all required project documentation accurately and according to defined schedules.
- Collaborate with Project staff in retrieving closed patient files and ensuring their return to the archives.
- Safeguard all equipment provided and keep recording area clean and tidy, giving special importance to all patient files. Maintain and protect all data entry and archive equipment and tools.
- Report any issue concerning data and archive management to Supervisor.
- Assure backup system for Data on monthly bases, with collaboration of Log Team.
- Complete all printing orders of medical templates as requested by PMR.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Secondary education essential, Data Management Degree is desirable
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Data encoding, minimum 2 years’ experience with INGO, Experience with MSF is desirable.
Languages:
- Local language essential. Mission language desirable.
Knowledge:
- Able to learn and use software used for recording (epidata)
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel, scanning skills)
Competencies:
- Results orientation, teamwork, commitment, flexibility.
