Job Description
General Administrative Duties
- Conducts periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and the workflow is running smoothly as per agreed plans at the beginning of each year
- Prepares periodic reports regarding the department activities and achievements to be submitted to the Operational Manager on monthly basis or when required
- Identifies human resources requirements for the department according to human resources planning best practices and market norms
- Recommends appropriate development and training plans for the direct reporter’s and evaluating their effectiveness through monitoring the results delivered and employee's performance
- Carries out performance appraisals for subordinates according to the planned schedules and recommending necessary actions as per the adopted procedures
- Assigns a coverage person to carry out the responsibilities of the position whenever the need arises such as travel, out of office for personal or business need
- Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the Operational Manager
Technical Duties
- Review and approve all of contactors (Civil) invoices.
- Making sure that all the aims of the project are met, as well as providing advice and agreeing project objectives from the points of view both of engineering and of the client’s needs.
- Ensuring the quality standards are met.
- Developing and producing health and safety documentation, and carrying out risk assessments.
- Conducting regulatory correspondence regarding demolition, HSE, and other regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring effective recruitment and management of site staff, including subcontractors.
- Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing and monitoring project costs.
- Overseeing submissions of tender, providing technical and practical experience where necessary.
Job Requirements
Minimum required Education
- Bachelor Civil in Engineering or a related field
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in Arabic and English language.
