Job Description
Cosmetic dermatologists offer consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients who are interested in improving their skin and hair condition. The procedures and services that cosmetic dermatologists use the following and should be expert in all of the following:
- Botox injections
- Laser hair removal (Candela)
- Chemical peels
- Fillers
- Microdermabrasion--may lead to revitalized, blemish-free skin
- There are also cosmetic dermatologists who specialize in areas such as hair loss
- Meet patients and listen to their skin problems and provide proper diagnosis and treatment for their various problems like infections.
- Write down prescription for the disease
- Provide follow-up examination until the patients are cured completely
- Follow-up examination is also important to find out how exactly the treatment is affecting and look for other options if patients are not reacting to the treatment.
- Support patients to get their desired look with cosmetic surgery
- Selling or Influencing Others : Convincing others to buy merchandise/goods or to otherwise change their minds or actions
- Controlling Machines and Processes : Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles)
- Assisting and Caring for Others : Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form
Job Requirements
- Masters degree
- Clinical experience in Cosmetic field is a must
