Job Description
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the foundation.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Advice on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
Maintain the financial health of the organization.
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, fundraising results, and the foundation’s actual performance compared to the fundraising plans. - Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the foundation’s budget.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing foundation plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the foundation.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 10+ years of experience in the same role ( banking sector is preferable )
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Superior attention to details.
- Strong Leadership Skills.
- V.good in English
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Work accurately with close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of information
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Strong written and excellent communication skills
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
