Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the identification of the appropriate organizational and business structure for the enterprise;
- Assists in the preparation of the organizational and management plan for the enterprise including the required operations and administrative staff with corresponding job descriptions, qualifications and remunerations;
- Analyze the company and its existing practices, and makes recommendations necessary for improvements.
- Help in identifying the business capability requirements of the proponent groups including the operations and management staff;
- Ensures compliance of enterprise to labor laws
- Sourcing new revenue streams for the team, with a main focus on our consultancy/construction department.
- Seeking international donors / funding opportunities.
- Sourcing local consulting projects and assisting with the
- Preparing a projected annual budget, including detailed revenue projections.
- Regular surveying of local market to assess demand for specific services related to our field.
- Periodically makes research on the needs, wants, and goals from different prospects and target audiences and then incorporates the results into marketing and sales strategies.
- Look for opportunities to develop the enterprise such as fellowships, mentoring opportunities, conferences
- Look for potential partners, ventures
- Meet assigned revenue targets by generating business from new and existing clients
- Set up of meetings with appropriately qualified contacts
- Partner with relevant team members to create winning proposals
- Anticipate and recognize any client objections in order to close sales
- Proactively communicate news and insights on prospect organizations and contacts
- Gain and share understanding of prospect’s organization, processes, business strategies, product or service offerings and decision-making structures
- Work collaboratively with the company’s resources to define the approach and strategy for achieving client requirements
- Communicate the status of opportunities, clearly articulate next steps and discuss potential risks with the wider sales and account management team in weekly meeting
- Create a system for tracking our impact through the different projects that we implement
- Prepare publications to be handled to potential clients such as, but not limited to:
- Presentations
- Brochures
- Concept note
- Company profile
- Assist in preparing proposals for funding opportunities
- Perform other duties that may be required by the enterprise
Job Requirements
Academic Qualification:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, engineering and related fields. MBA is a plus
- Knowledge about sustainability practices in the build environment is a plus.
Experience:
- At least two (2) years of directly related experience in business plan development or feasibility studies production planning, business plan preparation, project proposal writing, project development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Considerable knowledge on start-ups
- Good understanding of social enterprises and their operating environment
- Understanding of business procedures including business financing, human resources, operations and sales and marketing financing options for business start-ups and business expansions;
- Strong presentation skills.
