Job Description
- Lead scrap reduction and process improvement projects
- Meet department goals and objectives.
- Ability to troubleshoot on the floor using good problem solving skills.
- Provide technical expertise and educate personnel about new methods and processes.
- Improve machining fixture and processes
- Research and purchase new equipment
- Launch new product
- Reduce setup times on machining centers
- Working in Production handling manufacturing production related activities.
- Ownership of CAM, Manufacturing Quality, and Advanced Manufacturing Development.
- Ownership of CAM/CNC standard processes and strategy development for the current structured product lines. Drive incremental improvements in quality and speed of these processes. Maintain revision controlled documentation of the process.
- Utilize standard CAM processes to create CNC code for each specific job.
- Complete custom CAM/CNC programs on an as needed basis and work closely with manufacturing shops to ensure a quality part is made
- To supervise and guide the CNC section team in achieving monthly and yearly targets.
- Support manufacturing process improvements in tooling, fixturing, and sequence of operations.
- Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) – Utilize 3D CAD tools to create manufacturing solid models as needed.
- Review all customer quality control sheets for accuracy
- Gage Calibration – Provide consistent tracking of gage calibrations, standards, & test equipment.
- Establish & develop effective communication lines with peers, managers, and shop personnel where applicable.
- Support Engineering as needed.
- Support Operations as needed.
- To ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Identifies and resolves complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.
Job Requirements
- BSc. Degree in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Total 5 years of experience is preferred.
- More than 2 years of hands on experience in CNC Machining.
- Experience in production & Manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge on Mannual machines Programming, and machining practices.
- Good knowledge about CNC G-coding and M-coding for milling and turning CNC Machines.
- Experience with Fanuc Controller CNC Machines for milling and turning CNC Machines is a plus.
