Job Description
- Responsible for the full life cycle application development using standard frameworks and coding standards/patterns.
- Responsible for Coding, unit testing and debugging applications in various software languages.
- Responsible for Software testing and quality assurance.
- Support, maintain and document software functionality.
- Integrate software with existing systems.
- Maintain standards compliance.
- Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues related to code quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks.
- Provide guidance and coaching to associate software developers.
- Conduct ad hoc and manual code reviews. Provides guidance to software developers for continuous improvement.
- Java developer responsibilities include designing and developing high – volume, low – latency applications for mission – critical systems and delivering high – availability and performance.
- Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Computer Science or related areas.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
- 1-3 years of IT related experience
- Proven hands –on software development experience
- Proven working experience in Java Development
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals “class loading, memory management, transaction management etc.”
- Experience in Developing Web applications using at least one popular web framework” JSF,Spring MVC”
- Life-Ray experience is a plus .
