Responsibilities:
We’re a small, but efficient, team and everyone contributes to helping solve problems while delighting our customers.
- Create and maintain custom WordPress websites
- Develop user-friendly CMS sites
- Optimise and debug sites
- Update WordPress installs and plugins
- You’ll be interacting with clients and users on a daily basis, helping define requirements and troubleshooting when necessary.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in web development in PHP and WordPress development.
- Extensive experience with WordPress architecture, custom content types, and plugins
- Strong understanding of PHP
- Solid foundation in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
- Experience with frameworks such as Symphony2, Laraval and Bootstrap is big plus
- Good understanding of version control
- Experience with developing responsive websites
- Good understanding of developing SEO-optimized sites
- Knowledge of best practices (coding styles, standard naming conventions, security, etc.)
- Eager to collaborate with the rest of the development team on new and existing processes.Familiarity with relational databases, preferably MySQL
Bonus:
- Full LAMP stack experience and can configure/maintain a server
- Experience with Magento architecture
- Experience with mobile platforms
