Job Description
- Responsible for accuracy of bill of materials and provides all required needs to meet customer specifications and needs.
- Responsible for the accuracy of all the new drawings.
- Evaluates product change requests and takes appropriate action to change the required drawings, write the required documents and make the required changes to the product data management.
- Maintains the product data management system by updating the data required due to customer data update and errors found during daily use of the system
- Provides guidance and support to other engineers and operators with their daily assignments.
- Provide support to purchasing department in helping with supplier questions and inquiries.
- Provide support to manufacturing department in helping solve problem in materials and tools.
- Prepare needed drawings for special tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in sheet metal companies (punch, laser, bending, welding)
- Has good knowledge of the standards and specifications to provide designs adequate to meet customer requirements.
- Has excellent knowledge about Inventor, Solid works and Office programs
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Communication skills
- Flexibility and the ability to prioritize new tasks as they come in
