Job Description
- Supervise and oversee all structural engineering activities at the construction site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and interpret structural drawings, plans, and specifications, providing guidance to site teams as needed.
- Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure quality control of structural works.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, documentation, and records of structural activities.
- Identify and address any structural design discrepancies or site challenges, proposing effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and solutions.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among site personnel.
- Support the handover process by ensuring all structural works are completed to the highest standards and all documentation is in order.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in site supervision.
- Proven ability to supervise and coordinate structural works on-site.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical challenges promptly.
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work full-time on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
