Job Description
- Instilling a safety awareness culture throughout HIKMA by providing training to HIKMA employees and providing advice to department heads on occupational health and safety.
- Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that work is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the policies, processes and procedures.
- Participates in the development and implementation of Health and Safety policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Supervises and reviews the day-to-day activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
- Contributes to the preparation of the Health and Safety budget to ensure alignment with the approved set budget.
- Carries out audits and safety inspections and evaluates potential health and safety risks within Hikma to ensure that operations are running safely.
- Interacts with external parties such as local authorities and civil defense to ensure compliance with local health and safety standards and regulations.
- Encourages a safety awareness and culture throughout Hikma by providing recommendations to department heads on occupational health and safety, training Hikma employees on health and safety and meeting regularly with teams.
- Leads the emergency response plan during the incident and the accident investigation afterwards to prevent recurrence.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical, industrial, or any other engineering discipline).
- Very Good in English
- At least 3 Years' Experience in the same position
