Job Description
- Responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory of raw materials to fulfill production needs.
- Ensures that MRP is accurate and up to date in the relevant planning system.
- Communicate with Local Suppliers following up the availability and delivery of the materials according to the purchasing plan
- Communicate with Foreign Suppliers following up the availability & delivery of the materials in pipeline and take care of the documentation
- Follow up the shipments under release with logistics minimizing the cost of storage & demurrage
- Responsible for developing the 18-month active Supply Network Plan that balances constrained of supply Review forecast performance metrics in Supply Chain Analytics tool and analyze results and trends
- Explain reasons for variances and highlight upcoming events that may impact the next month’s production forecast.
- Initiate supplier evaluation monitoring system for the supplies to help in the supply process control considering the operations / quality / service level parameter for both local & foreign supplier
- Provide decision support to Regional S&OP decision makers along with Regional Demand Planner on the impact to supply of potential decision alternatives. Develops alternative solutions to supply constraint
- Drive the new cross-functional, collaborative demand forecasting process for all products in a distributive area
- Create weekly and event-based refreshes to the supply planning situation highlighting the main constraints and issues if any.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics, IBP Experience and APICS CPIM certified or similar accreditation are plus
- Comprehensive Supply Chain or Logistics Education or Experience is required
- Intensive Operational knowledge of SAP is a must.
- Advanced planning skills
- Advanced Proficiency in English Language
