Job Description
- Work on reaching new suppliers and products, using the internet, phone and sometimes attending trade fairs to choose product ranges and presenting new ideas to managers
- Get & compare prices from several suppliers to find the better price
- Visit suppliers and negotiating prices and delivery dates to get better prices and to meet the delivery SLA
- Check that goods and services are fit for purpose to meet with the organization’s requirements.
- Make sure goods arrive on time, checking their condition to store them and pay for the suppliers.
- Enter into and manage contracts with product suppliers and service providers to ensure proper sourcing & negotiation with suppliers till issuing the contract itself in coordination with the legal department
- Record & monitor stock levels, to have stock data and analysis
- Forecast price trends and future sales, and writing reports to present to the direct manager
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience
- Bachelor degree in any related field
- A good knowledge of products, suppliers and distribution.
