Job Description

Job Purpose

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for achieving partnership targets for the sales forecast plan throughout the year by approaching schools, nurseries and companies and educational institutes.

Main Duties, activities and Responsibilities

  • Study all aspects and required details about our products, delivery formats, operations, approved script and key personals.
  • Receive, filter and examine inquiries delivered online via website or social media or through incoming phone calls or emails or referrals or any other means of inquiry.
  • Conduct due and overdue follow ups with customers and make sure they receive the service they requested detailed in the logged call/inquiry. (CRM)
  • Present to customers our products with detail and accuracy, stating the delivery formats and various options clients can choose from.
  • Help customer choose the most suitable format by guiding them through the vast variety of options.
  • Apply sales techniques to give customers the best offers and experience towards customer’s re-enrollment.
  • Provide customers with accurate data that represents the actual status of delivery and in the same time make sure that it reflects well on the brand.
  • Log all activities conducted on the CRM system with their accurate feedback comments, detailed activity summary and accurate date and time.
  • Finalize agreements and contracting then create cash receipts for the purchased products linked to the enrollments. (CRM)
  • Advice and help customer choose the suitable payment method for purchased items, schedule the desired date, and follow up for payment.
  • Issue a payment request to accounting to follow up on payment procurement via the selected payment method.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities and meetings using acquired databases, present products and services, establish interest and create new inquiries.
  • Conduct upselling activities towards re-enrollment and selling other products for existing customers towards fulfilling operations plan target as directed by supervising manager.
  • Approach Schools, Nurseries and companies.
  • Create Partnerships with educational institutes.
  • Prepare your own approved presentation materials and schedule your meeting with clients.
  • Attain fixed in-office hours per month to aggregate a better understanding of products.
  • Ensure partners satisfaction and build a lasting relationship built on good rapport and mutual benefits.
  • Update and maintain our targeted sales database.
  • Conduct the minimum number of activities per working day, attain the minimum quarterly sales quota, and work towards exceeding the assigned target.

Working Conditions

The Business Development Specialist will be required to work some weekdays, evenings and weekends to satisfy our sales plan target and achieve maximum responsiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Major: Preferably, a business major. (Graduates)
  • 0-2 years of experience in the sales field
  • English proficiency and computer skills.
  • High level of service orientation, cooperation, and negotiation.
  • Highly developed ability of analyzing, planning, organizing, problem solving, influencing, and networking techniques.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to create and maintain a friendly rapport.
